It would be interesting to see the circumstances that lead to the Prison Officer to do this. Financial? Conditioned? Blackmailed?

Seemingly some people join as officers specifically to get stuff inside for mates. How they get through the system I don't know. Also by the time the officer got through vetting the prisoner would probably have served his sentence.

Probably the lack of SSCL's recruitment process, which stressed him out and pushed him to the drugs.
